The original seed for the idea of Growth On Track was planted 20 years ago. That’s when I first understood the personal stakes my clients had in the results of market-focused transformation. In virtually all cases I was working with very successful mid-career directors and managers employed by leading companies. They shared the same problem, stymied revenue growth.
The root causes varied—low-growth industries, outmoded channel choices, competition for mindshare of their distributors. In every case though, these clients were passionate about growing their businesses. They were committed to improving the value that they could deliver to customers.
